Zac Power (2008-2010)
My first published-author gig was ghost-writing titles in the best-selling Zac Power series, under the pseudonym H.I. Larry (which I shared with a bunch of other authors.)
The series focuses on the adventures of 12-year-old Zac Power, a secret agent for the Government Investigation Bureau (GIB). In each book, Zac has 24 hours to save the world from a new catastrophic threat, with the help of an assortment of awesome high-tech gadgets and vehicles, provided by his older brother, Leon.
Zac Power is big on action, adventure and explosions, and was designed with reluctant readers in mind.
I wrote twelve titles in the series all up, including Volcanic Panic, Sky High, Swamp Race, Close Shave, and the Mega Missions and Extreme Missions mini-series.
